Paul’s Sailing Series

Book one

That Night In Cartagena – Sailing

That Night In Cartagena is the first book in the series “Paul’s Sailing Series” which is available on Amazon, under the same name or the book itself.

In book one the author sails from Charleston South Carolina across the North Atlantic to Cartagena in Spain. From there the vessel is joined by a charter party and the summer season begins in the Mediterranean. The journey is filled with situations that had to be dealt with by the captain (Paul) and the crew.

The vessel, a sixty-two-foot Jongert made of steel and superbly maintained, was built in Holland in one of the most prestigious shipyards; known for their quality and magnificent workmanship.

Book two is the trip from Puerto Banus, to the Canary Islands, and then west bound with the trade winds to Santa Lucia on the other side of the Atlantic. The journey takes the captain and crew to some of the most magnificent islands in the Caribbean. Places with fine white sand, palm trees and crystal turquoise waters. The vessel departed while still in the active hurricane season. There were frightening moments and some incredible displays from Mother Nature.
